Our Surgeries are Performed by a Licensed Veterinarian

Please note: you are scheduling a surgery drop off time.  The Veterinarian will perform surgeries in the order he/she deems best on that day. We will do our best to get your pet's surgery completed as soon as possible but it may be a while before your pet is ready to go home.

Please check-in at the time you have scheduled for your pet.    Please do not arrive early unless we request that you do so. If you do get to the location early, we ask that you stay in your vehicle with your pet until your scheduled drop off time. Due to our mobile nature, we need time to unload our trailer and to get set up. We can't accept patients on board the trailer until this is finished.

We will call you when your pet is ready for pick-up to go home. All pet owners will be called when their pet is ready to go home after surgery.  Please make sure you leave a reliable phone number where we can reach you at any time during the day. You will need to be able to pick up your pet within 30 minutes of receiving notification from us. If you prefer a text message instead of a phone call, we are happy to accommodate your request.

Please wait to hear from us before coming to pick up your pet. We do not have enough staff to answer all the phone calls, emails, and Facebook messages from owners asking about their pet during the day. We thank you for the opportunity to care for your pet and appreciate your consideration and patience!  Please note:  All spays and neuters will be completed before dental cleanings.

Due to our mobile nature, we are NOT able to keep animals past the designated pick up time.  Owners WILL be charged a LATE FEE if they do not pick up their pet in a timely manner. Please inform us when dropping off your pet if you will be more than 30 minutes away.

PetVet Relief strives to keep costs low but can not do so if our staff has to wait after hours for you to pick up your pet. We appreciate your consideration in this matter.

A $30 late fee will be added if you are more than 20 minutes late for pick plus an additional $20/20 minutes. If we are unable to get in touch with you, your pet will be transported where you will have to make arrangements for them to be picked up and additional charges will be added.

Patients must beat least 12 weeks and 2 pounds or more.

Patients must be 6 years or younger for a spay or neuter.

If a female dog/cat has recently had a litter, the young must be weaned. This can usually be done when the puppies or kittens are 6-8 weeks old and eating hard food.

We require proof of a rabies vaccination within the last year. Please bring a rabies certificate/ receipt (with animal's name and description on it) to check in (a rabies tag is NOT sufficient). . If your pet has not been vaccinated, we can do this at the time of surgery ($13).

Please remember to take away all food for your pet at least 12 hours prior to surgery

For your pet’s safety, we require that cats be brought in a hard sided carrier lined with something absorbent. Dogs need to be brought on a leash, or in your arms (for smaller pets).

Thank you so much for being a responsible pet owner! We are looking forward to seeing you and your fur babies!
